I have shown that I adapt well to new working environments. I am meticulous in my approach, focused on perfecting my craft and progressing further as an IT professional.
The formal education, training and industry experience I have gained has enabled me to develop a broad set of skills and disciplines relating to IT. I appreciate the importance of continual development. Through self-education using online materials and other resources I actively work towards developing the skills, knowledge and experience I have acquired while gaining new competencies along the way.

A comprehensive course with a curriculum based mainly on the fundamentals of Information Technology delivered in the context of current trends within industry. During my time at ITT Dublin I developed a strong foundation of technical skills, knowledge and understanding. However, I gained much more than this throughout my academic career in the institute. I learned how to work as a cohesive member of a team through group projects and assignments and I refined my communication skills through presenting my work to colleagues, peers and representatives from industry.

The course involved the development of skills and knowledge relating to the area of music technology. Modules included Audio Engineering, Music Industry Studies, Music Technology, Music Theory, Sound Engineering and Production with an onsite studio work placement involving the recording and mastering of live performances. Additional modules included Web Authoring, Communications and IT Skills.

Throughout my studies I have had several part-time jobs within the catering and hospitality sector varying between permanent and causal agency positions.
Currently in development the project involves development of a mobile application that provides timetable information to students on their mobile device. The current web based solution is provided by Serco's CMIS ePortal facility. The proposed app would incorporate a mobile friendly design that is faster to use and more concise.
A website involving both front and back end development and design. The site was designed to show a full working dynamic site. The website was built for a sports club. It project was implemented using HTML, CSS, JS, MySQL, PHP and Twitter Bootstrap. The site was hosted locally on EasyPHP a local WAMP server.
A Java based application that uses java swing and AWT libraries. The application was designed for use by a small taxi business. The application has the ability to add, update and delete car's and bookings from a database. It is also able to assign a driver to a job based on a number of factors.
I am a former member of ITT Dublin DJ society. I have performed at a variety of events in a number of venues across the capital.
I live an active lifestyle maintaining a high level of fitness through running, cycling and working out. I have participated in a few charity runs in the past.
I am an avid traveller, I have travelled throughout Europe and on a few occasions beyond. I enjoy sampling the culture, food and drink each place has to offer.
